people you love.
I just love spending time with family and friends. No matter where you are or what you are doing you just know its always going to be fun.
This pass weekend was Easter and I was able to go spend the weekend at my grandparents house. We got to go out all day saturday on the lake with my aunt, uncle, cousins, my twin and my boyfriend and wake boarded and rode the jet skies all day. then had a relax lunch at the Lake club where they had an indoor pool to swim in because the outdoor pools and lake were pretty chilly! Saturday night we grilled out some amazing steaks and my cousin and I make some homemade mash potatoes. We all had a great time just eating dinner at the table together which in my family we don't really get to do much anymore because either ones married or were all off at college. We also made brownies and homemade vanilla ice cream for dessert.
Sunday was EASTER! Unfortunately my dad and brother were unable to come up to the lake because of so work problems that happened that morning. My mom came down to celebrate easter and we were planning on celebrating my dads and cousin, Kallyn who is turning 3 thursday, birthdays after lunch.
Although plans didn't go as plan it was still a great weekend to visit with my family and have an enjoyable relaxing weekend!
I just think these two paintings and absolutely gorgeous!
I wanted and still want to paint for my parents and one for my one day. Its from Sips & Strokes that you can go and paint with an instructor for about $35. Its so much fun to go with a big group of girls.

I just love going to weddings and seeing all the desserts! :)
Banana Split Mini Bites
Step 1: Use firm bananas and cut into 1 inch sections. Leave the peel on for easy handling, and with a melon baller, dig a well in the middle of each banana section.
Step 2: Melt chocolate in the microwave and dip the bottom portion of the banana in chocolate and then dip it once again in either non-pareils or chopped peanuts. To quickly harden the chocolate, place dipped bananas in the freezer for five minutes.
Step 3 : Fill each well with ice cream (fill with your favor favor) and top with whip cream and a cherry.

just another post :)
so last night we had some crazy weather here in Alabama, we were under a tornado warning for a little bit. My room mate and i were hiding in my bathroom with pillows, a flash light, and my bear... o and we were watching Step Brothers on her laptop! ha Then since we lost power i just curled up in best with a book, Emily Giffin's Heart of the Matter! and a flashlight.
last night just makes me want this crazy weather to be over and summer time to get here! :)
Weither its finding ourself, just hanging out with your best friends, going and traveling or even falling in love. I just cant wait for sweet summer time!

katie holmes and suri cruise
Gorgeous. I would kill to look like this when I become a mother or now!

All of these outfits are just so cute.. but is she dressing her age. I would have to question the pictures below. A little girl in heels, i don't really know how i feel about that but i will say she looks fabulous but is she 5 going on 25 ?!??!

Wedding Wednesdays
7 amazing parts to a wedding : here are just 7 little things that i just love when having a wedding.
1. you need your own style when it comes to your engagement pictures. I just love this picture! These pictures can really show off both personalities and how much love they have for one another.
2. The perfect location, location is key because some people might want a hometown wedding or a destination wedding. My preference is a hometown or wherever both sides of the family can meet, in either a church or a lovely house like this one.
3. Details, Details, Details they are very important! it is the place in your wedding that you can make it even more special and your own. I am in love with flowers and the color of them. And i must say those shoes are to die for !
5. The Reception, I must say this is one of my favorite parts to a wedding. This picture is actually from my sisters wedding that was this pass summer in June.The Live Band was just amazing You can just see how many people are on the dance for, when at most wedding not many people will dance. It was a great time and Ill always remember it.
4. The Cake, Which everyone that attendants a wedding is looking forward to seeing what the cake looks like and don't forget the taste too. I think this cake is gorgeous, I would love to see this in a light pink and 2 more layers :)
5. Have an Amazing Photographer that you might know or seen his work. I just love both of these pictures, From the bride getting ready with her bridesmaids to the whole bridal party! They capture everyones personalities and the excitement of the wedding.
7. Last but not least: Wedding pictures of just the Bride and Groom. It their day and everyone will want to look back at these pictures and think of just how great that special day was for the two of them.
