H & M summertime.
these pants are just so cute and look so stylist at the beach!
love the classic white pants and solid color top!
the blue and white strip skirt just reminds me of the beach!
The tan and off white look is just a classic and it does always get a little chilly at night!

I am in love with H&M new summertime look. I think it is just so simply but they all are classic looks that never go out of style. Their prices are amazing too! I really want to go to an H&M store before i head to the beach at the end of the month!

simply elegant
i just find this absolutely gorgeous and very elegant! i would love to design something like this for someones wedding reception or just a special event. Its outside but at the same time it doesn't have that outdoor feel to it.

the storm that tore my town apart.
it has now been two weeks since the mile wide tornado hit my town. Driving everyday to my maymester class through the path of the storm breaks my heart everyday. Each day i see something that i hadn't before, either it is a picture frame, a car, a number that shows the death total from that house, or even a sign that says found! Although I was so luck to have left my apartment and go across the railroad tracks to a friends houses that night and not have to be in the big of it and hear my window get blown out. Although I don't have nightmares of what I could have gone through I have had many that have been what if i was one of the many people that have the stories to share what they went through. Knowing now that 41 people in my home town are no longer here kills me. I still cant believe i know two of those 41 people that were killed by this national disaster tornado. now they're are hearts that someone painted on just wood and put them in the ground like signs that are all around Tuscaloosa that just make you think about all the people that lost someone they loved.
Since the tornado hit I have never seen a town come together so fast and everyone now has a smile on there face with a helping hand! It will take a while though probably a year before life will be normal again here in Tuscaloosa. I wish i was able to say sooner but All i can say is that i live in a wonderful community and i thank everyone that has help our my college town!
Reading the Sport's Illustrated article about Tuscaloosa really makes me realize how selfish I am. While reading these articles I found myself in tears at the end of it all. To now know what some of my fellow students had to go through. I take advantage of so much EVERYday when God granted me safety throughout the entire storm. Got my mind on Tuscaloosa tonight that's for sure. And for all those who suffered some sort of loss, my heart goes out to you, now and forever. "The Lord will protect you from all harm; He will protect your life." Psalm 121:7

new piece.
so excited that my amazing grandmother, BecBec found this great piece for only $125. I needed a dresser so bad for my house ill be moving into next year.
I havent yet decided if i want to paint it or not, its kind of a off white with a yellow cream tint to it. I kind of thought about painting it a light aqua blue color... what do you think?
its so pretty in person i just can wait to start moving into my new college house!
